School Council is a fantastic way to connect with the school community. Being an active member opens the door to countless opportunities and enrichment for our children. School Council is always seeking more parents, new ideas and volunteers to keep our great programs and commitments alive.

There are two vacant positions available on council, they include:

  1. Allergy Representative: The allergy rep is a person who is available to answer questions surrounding the rules and regulations regarding allergy issues. The position typically is held by someone who has a child with an allergy; the position does not require attending regular meetings.
  2. Ottawa-Carleton Association of School Councils (OCASC) Representative:  The OCASC Rep attends OSASC monthly meetings at Fisher Park School on Holland Ave. and reports back to Hopewell School Council on what was discussed. It's a great way to find out what issues the other school Councils are discussing and dealing with.

If you would like to volunteer to be one of the above noted Reps and/or willing to volunteer your time at events, we would very much welcome your thoughts and engagement. You can contact the School Council Executive Team at:
