Pizza Fridays
School Council organizes Pizza Fridays at Hopewell Ave PS. We hope your kids enjoy the special Friday treat for lunch (and you enjoyed one less lunch-box to fill) 
. Pizza Fridays will run the full school year 2022/ 2023 thanks to our great collaboration with Panago Pizza.
Subway Mondays
Starting in 2023, School Council is offering Subway sandwiches on Mondays from 30 January - 12 June. A variety of bread and toppings can be selected in two sizes (4" and 6").
Fundraiser for School activities
Please know that Pizza Day and Subway Monday is not just a great service, but also School Council’s biggest fundraiser with 100% of the money raised going towards enhancing learning across all grades and extracurricular activities such as field trips, as well as improvements to our School Yards. All students benefit from the fundraising efforts of the School Council and we greatly appreciate the support from our generous Hopewell community.
Volunteer
Pizza Days and Subway Monday's are made possible by a great group of parent volunteers supported by Grade 8 students. Without these capable hands the distribution of the many pizzas would not be possible. Thank you!

We are also looking into nutrition of the school lunches (following the School Food and Beverage policy) and are exploring various other options for next school year 2023/ 2024. Let us know if you have thoughts on this matter.
