Our School Yard
Our School Yard is a great place where the children play during their day at school. Hopewell has three yards, known to the students as the Kinder yard, the Primary yard and the Turf yard.
School Council has been involved in the renovations of the Kinder yard (2020-2021) and the Primary Yard (2015-16) with an active and enthusiastic group of parents raising funds to make all changes on the yard possible: new structures were placed, trees and bushes were planted, and grading and drainage was ensured.
The bi-annuall clean-up of the Yards, as well as mulch and care for the trees is organized and covered by School Council. A portion of our raised funding goes to the maintenance of the yards.
